Then we found Rain McDermott, the founder of the Dallas Caramel Company. She makes creamy-soft caramels in a dozen flavors such as Drunken Nut (with Texas whiskey and pecans), espresso, pumpkin, sea salt, and the popular bacon caramel, which is blended with bacon fat and real bacon bits.
