How the Finalists Were Chosen

The D Magazine editors selected all of the finalists based on their own opinions (of course), past Best of Big D winners, reader favorites, and recommendations from those we trust, i.e., people we think are as smart as we are when it comes to these things. Don't see your favorite among the finalists? Fill in your own, yo.

Every August, D Magazine publishes its Best of Big D issue, wherein the editors name their favorites in food and drink, nightlife, shopping, goods and services, and culture and media. This year, we’re giving our readers a chance to vote for their favorites in each of these categories.

From May 24 to June 6, you can vote once a day, every day, for your favorite services in the city. If you feel like skipping a question, then please do. We won’t tell—and your votes still count.
