Why She’s a Semifinalist: We’re still in the Olympic spirit, and a beautiful track runner and triple jumper seemed the perfect addition to this pack of gorgeous women. Her daily schedule consists of eating, sleeping, and training, but Manning insists it’s all worth it. “You have to love what you do, and if you don’t, you have to get doing something you love,” she says. “I know I’ll live longer because I’m happy.” Her diet is a strict regimen of veggies and proteins, but her favorite treat is See’s Candies (especially because you can test samples at the store). Manning’s bucket list is full of to-dos, like parasailing, visiting a foreign country’s hot springs, and, surprisingly, being a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader for a day. “It’s style, grace, and beauty in one.”
Fun Fact: For competitions, Manning has a little fun designing her own uniforms. One past edition was a tribute to Michael Jackson “with the glove, gold uniform jacket, and everything.”

How We Picked The Semifinalists: We solicited nominations through www.dmagazine.com, plus we threw in our own candidates. After looking through hundreds of nominations, and interviewing dozens of women, D Magazine editors narrowed the pool down to 20 semifinalists.
