Why She’s a Semifinalist: She’s poised, confident, unafraid to tackle tough interview questions, and yes, a blonde; everything you’d expect from your current Miss Dallas USA. What you might not expect is that she’s also on the Red Bull Wings Team, responsible for helping promote energy drinks around town. “If you’ve seen those crazy Mini Coopers running around, that’s me,” she says. But all of this is in her spare time. She’s a full-time student at the University of North Texas, hoping to move into nonprofit work after graduation. Until then, she spends her free time cooking, exercising, and occasionally indulging in her favorite treat: peanut butter. “It’s in all my favorite foods.”
Fun Fact: Entsminger was a self-proclaimed “late bloomer,” with a mouth full of dental gear (expander and all) until eighth grade. “The day I got those off was the best day ever,” she says.

How We Picked The Semifinalists: We solicited nominations through www.dmagazine.com, plus we threw in our own candidates. After looking through hundreds of nominations, and interviewing dozens of women, D Magazine editors narrowed the pool down to 20 semifinalists.
