Why She's a Semifinalist: This newly married lawyer is a Texas girl through and through. She grew up in Arlington, went to high school in Fort Worth, and practices law in Dallas. She married a local CPA, whom she met during a friend's wedding in Puerto Vallarta. "It was the cliché 'love at first sight' thing," she says. She calls herself an early-morning-get-up-and-go person, which probably makes her good at her job. Construction litigation is her specialty.
