Why She’s a Semifinalist: She’s a lawyer who keeps a collection of Backstreet Boys and ’N Sync on her iPod. (She even saw New Kids on the Block live last year.) Her schedule is packed with long hours preparing for trials, days spent in court arguing lawsuits, volunteer work for the education nonprofit Lawyers in the Classroom, and a little exercise at Equinox. “It can be pretty hectic,” she says. When she gets a chance to slow down, she relaxes with a book or hops on a plane with her doctor husband to do a little traveling. (The power couple just got back from Spain.) If she had her way, she’d throw in a day of gluttony too: full of Snuffer’s cheese fries, Primo’s enchiladas, and Arby’s curly fries.
